Ambyr M. O’Donnell
Ambyr, of the class of ’01, has dedicated her career to advising technology companies. Ambyr has worked with early stage tech companies preparing for an initial public offering (IPO), acquisitions and scaling for rapid growth. She has worked with public companies focusing on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing and general business matters. She has also managed human resources, facilities and compliance functions.
In 2018, Ambyr was honored as our Distinguished Business Law Graduate. In 2013 she was named one of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s “Top 10 30-Somethings.” She has served as a chair of the Business Law Section of the Oregon State Bar and on other executive committees and law school boards.
Ambyr currently serves as Belden Inc.’s (BLD) vice president and general counsel of its Industrial Automation Platform. Belden acquired cybersecurity company Tripwire in 2015, where Ambyr served as vice president and general counsel. Prior these roles, Ambyr was senior corporate counsel for Coverity, Inc., which was later acquired by Synopsys (SNPS), and Mentor Graphics Corporation, which was later acquired by Siemens (SIEGY).
