How I became interested in Animal Law:

After graduating from college, I moved to Austin, TX where I became involved in the No-Kill movement through Austin Pets Alive!, a non-profit rescue organization.  Being a part of the community that succeeded in the goal of Austin being a no-kill city made me realize how much work still needs to be done for companion animals in the United States and around the world.  A J.D. is a powerful tool for change, and I want to be a part of that change.

SALDF at Lewis & Clark School of Law:

Being a part of the SALDF chapter at L&C has been an enriching experience.  There are countless opportunities to learn and network.  The group is full of remarkable students, and I am fortunate to be a part of them.
