Bio

I am double majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Mathematics. I am currently doing research in a neuroscience lab with Drosophila melongaster. I volunteer for the ALS Association, as well as tutor in the SQRC, and for the SAAB tutoring program. In the fall of 2015, I was awarded membership in Lewis & Clark’s Oregon Eta chapter of the Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society. In the future, I would like to attend graduate school for Quantitative Biology or Biomedical Engineering with a neuroscience focus. My interest in engineering sprouted through my involvement with robotics. I participated in robotics from 5th to 12th grade, and continued as a mentor during my freshman year at Lewis & Clark College. I enjoy sewing, embroidering, and knitting. In addition, I love puzzles of all kinds, playing volleyball and swimming.
