European Court of Human Rights

The Court hears cases on a wide range of human rights issues that arise under the European Convention on Human Rights. To deal with its expanding workload, the Court had developed the Assistant Lawyer’s Scheme to provide new legal professionals an opportunity to gain experience. Qualified applicants must be a national of a Council of Europe member state and have a law degree in a university located in a COE member state.
