Donald G. Balmer Citation (for service to the college)
Chuck Charnquist has been a tireless Lewis & Clark advocate for decades. After graduation, he spent several years as a journalist before returning to his alma mater as public information director, a role he held for 19 years. Since 2008, he has been active with the Albany Society and served as its chair in 2011. He currently edits The Gatehouse, a newsletter that helps connect senior alumni with each other and the college.
