Biography
Misha Isaak is Deputy General Counsel to Oregon Governor Kate Brown. Prior to working for Governor Brown, Misha was a litigation attorney at Perkins Coie LLP. While there, Misha litigated a successful challenge to Oregon’s ban on marriage for same-sex couples. He has been ranked one of the top 40 Under 40 LGBT Lawyers in America by the National LGBT Bar Association. Before becoming a lawyer, Misha worked for Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers (both now retired). He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Reed College, and clerked for judges on the U.S. District Court of New Jersey and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
