Lora Dunn

Adjunct Law Faculty

Lora Dunn is interim director and senior staff attorney of the Criminal Justice Program of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF). Lora received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and music from the University of Richmond. After working for a couple of years in editing in New York, she enrolled at Lewis & Clark because of her passion for animal law. As a law student, she participated in the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, the National Animal Law Competitions, the Animal Law Conference, and the Animal Law Clinic. She still found time to volunteer, do school work, and clerk for the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Lora currently provides trial support, training, and outreach for prosecutors and law enforcement working on animal cruelty cases.
