Program Coordinator, Environmental, Natural Resources, & Energy Law program
Kelly Novahom was born and raised in Southern California and attended the University of California, Irvine, earning double Bachelor of Arts degrees in European Studies and Comparative Literature in 2013. Upon graduation, she worked as an investigator, preparing cases for trial, for Joseph B. Laski & Associates, a certified legal investigation firm in Irvine, CA, and as an Administrative Assistant and Program Administrator for UC Irvine’s Newkirk Center for Science and Society and Center for Unconventional Security Affairs. Prior to becoming the Program Coordinator for the Environmental Law program, she was the Administrative Specialist for UCI’s new Blum Center for Poverty Alleviation where she was head of events and operations. She is now pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership & Policy with a Specialization in Postsecondary, Adult, & Continuing Education at Portland State University. Kelly currently serves on the Diversity Committee at the law school.
