Pro Bono Chair
Alyssa is a 3L at Lewis & Clark Law School and thrilled to be a part of Lewis & Clark Law School’s Animal Legal Defense Fund. Alyssa is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She transferred to Lewis & Clark last year specifically for the animal and environmental law programs.
Alyssa graduated with a B.A. in Law and Social Thought from The University of Toledo. She then spent her first year of law school in Columbus, Ohio at Capital University Law School. During her first year she realized that to pursue her love for animals she needed to transfer to Lewis & Clark. Her first year at Lewis & Clark she was a source checker for the Animal Law Reviewand a research assistant for PETA. Her passion lies with the intersection of animal and environmental law in International Wildlife law. Alyssa will be in the International Environmental Law Project Clinic this year where she can pursue her passion.
In her spare time Alyssa enjoys traveling, climbing, binge watching tv shows, snuggling her dog Ella, and exploring Portland with her favorite human.
