Colby K. Stewart JD ’16
Colby K. Stewart JD ’16 has joined the CNMI Office of the Attorney General of Saipan. Stewart, who is based in the office’s civil division, previously clerked for the U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Municipality of Anchorage. Following law school, he moved to the Northern Mariana Islands to serve as a staff attorney at the Law Revision Commission, where he aided in the codification of statutes and regulations, edited and composed legal publications, presented professional development trainings, worked on court policies and procedures, and assisted the judiciary’s general counsel on a wide range of legal matters. Stewart served as the editor-in-chief of Animal Law Review and earned an Environmental, Natural Resource, and Energy Law certificate.
