Biography
Per Olstad is a Senior Advisor at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Per has been at the Bureau since 2011, serving in various capacities, including as Counsel and Deputy Associate Director for the Division of Consumer Education and Engagement. Prior to joining the CFPB, Per served as Financial Initiatives Manager and Legal Counsel for the CtW Investment Group. Per also served as a member of the board and Executive Director of two nonprofit organizations working to increase transparency in corporate political spending, the Corporate Disclosure Resource Center. Per graduated from Grinnell College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and completed his JD at Northeastern University School of Law in 2006.
