After earning her law degree, cum laude, Devra practiced law throughout the Pacific Northwest for nearly 17 years, working primarily in litigation, employment law, and juvenile delinquency defense. Prior to law school, she spent her early career in corporate human resources where, among other work, she assisted laid off workers in finding jobs and re-entering the workforce. In 2016, Devra followed her dream of working with law students in their career and professional development in Career Services, as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and as a coach in alternative dispute resolution and trial skills.
As the Assistant Dean of Career and Professional Development at Lewis & Clark Law School, Devra is dedicated to helping students and graduates explore and follow their career goals to land meaningful positions during and after graduation. In her free time, Devra is an avid roller derby fan, after skating and coaching in the sport for many years.
