Applying for Juris Doctor Graduation
In October of every year, students are required to complete the degree application on line and submit the signed program evaluation to the Law Registrar’s Office by the end of the month.
An email will be sent to all students asking them to complete the task by the deadline:
October 31st for January (Fall), May (Spring) or Summer graduation dates
The email will ask you to complete the following steps.
Log into your WebAdvisor account and select the option “Degree Application.”
Select the Juris Doctor (JD.Law) degree program you are completing and click submit. On the WebAdvisor form that displays enter the following:
- Your name in the manner you wish it to appear on your diploma
- Your diploma mailing address
- The term you will be completing your degree
- Your hometown and state for the commencement program
- Your height, weight and head size information for your regalia order
There are no fees that students pay for graduation or participation in our commencement ceremony.
Select the option “Program Evaluation” found on WebAdvisor.
Select Juris Doctor program and click submit. Next review, print, and sign your Program Evaluation. The signature line is found at the bottom of the form. This evaluation shows your degree progress to date.
Submit your signed Program Evaluation in person to the Law Registrar’s Office in the Legal Research Center or fax it to us at 503-768-6850 by the deadline indicated above. You may also scan it and email it to us at email@example.com.
The Lewis & Clark Law School holds one commencement ceremony in May on a Saturday. Degree candidates who are eligible to participate include degree candidates from January, May, and Summer degree candidates who have filed a degree application by the deadline date. Degree candidates must file their completed degree application with the Law Registrar’s Office by the published deadline. To read more information on commencement, go to our commencement page.
