Nathan is an experienced trial and appellate attorney who has successfully briefed and argued in the Oregon Court of Appeals, Oregon Supreme Court, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Business Law Faculty Invite YOU to be a Keller Law & Entrepreneurship Scholar, Spring Semester 2013!

Each Scholar will receive a $1,000 Scholarship!

This spring, March 8, the Lewis & Clark Law School is hosting the Keller Law and Entrepreneurship Forum. The Forum is designed to give students and faculty the opportunity to meet with leaders of the business community and members of the practicing bar to discuss important business issues of the day. In spring of 2013, the Forum topics will involve discussions around Sports Law. The Forum begins with an informal lunch for scholars and professors, followed by the Forum, which is divided into two sessions, followed by a reception. The sessions will be moderated by Professor Lydia Loren and Interim Assistant Dean Steve Goebel, and will emphasize informal interaction among all present. A committee comprised of members of the business law faculty will select up to eight law students and two CAS students as Keller Law and Entrepreneurship Scholars. Keller Entrepreneurship Scholars Forum

This program is designed to give Lewis & Clark Law School and CAS undergraduate student scholars interested in entrepreneurship an opportunity to engage with business leaders, policy makers and lawyers, in thoughtful and dynamic discussions regarding today’s most pressing issues, from banking and securities regulation to small business financing; sustainability and worker outsourcing to global trade and intellectual property protection.   Scholars will have an opportunity to explore a wide array of these and other challenging issues facing local, national and global entrepreneurs, including corporate and nonprofit leaders, start-up ventures, financiers, bankers, policymakers and regulators.

2011 Fall Immigration Forum

Lewis & Clark Law School welcomes Professor Hiroshi Motomura, the Susan Westerberg Prager Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law.  Professor Motomura is a leading scholar and teacher of immigration and citizenship law and the author of Americans in Waiting: The Lost Story of Immigration and Citizenship in the United States.   Motomura will be a central speaker on the immigration panel of the ACLU Northwest Civil Liberties Conference.  On the same day, the law school  will host a interdisciplinary forum with leading migration scholars in diverse fields to discuss the ideas and themes of Motomura’s forthcoming book on immigration outside of the law.  The forum will focus on legalization of noncitizens unlawfully present in the United States.
