Asian Pacific American Law Student Association
APALSA provides its members with personal, academic, and professional support to aid in the development of its law students. We work with attorneys in the Portland area to provide networking and professional development opportunities for APALSA members. We also hold several events throughout the school year to build a sense of community within APALSA and the rest of the student body. We are open to everyone!
Our mission:
To articulate and promote the needs and goals of the Asian and Pacific Islander students at Lewis & Clark Law School; to foster and encourage an attitude of professional excellence; to focus on the relationship of Asian and Pacific Islander Law Students with their respective communities, the Legal System of Oregon, and the United States of America. To aid, support, and assist in the recruitment of prospective Asian and Pacific Islander students and to assist in their admission to Lewis & Clark Law School.
