Federal Indian Law Cases at the US Supreme Court

Please join Professor Frank Pommersheim and NALSA for a lunchtime discussion of current Federal Indian Law cases at the Supreme Court of the United States. Some of the cases he will be discussing include Dollar General Corporation v. Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and United States v. Bryant.





 





Professor Pommersheim sits on multiple tribal appellate courts throughout Indian Country and we are fortunate to have him as a visiting professor this semester.

NAYA’s Culture Night Event

Native American Youth and Family Center invites you to come to NAYA’s Culture Night on October 22nd in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month.

Folks are welcome, this particular night, to watch a screening of Young Lakota and discuss the film with a panel of community experts on Reproductive Justice. The usual Culture Night activities will still be offered for all ages as well as a free flu shot clinic!
