Lawyer Referral Service: First in-office attorney consultation is $35 or less, subsequent visits are to be negotiated between the attorney and the client. Assists with ALL types of matters.
Modest Means Program: First in-office attorney consultation is $35 or less. If an attorney accepts the matter, the attorney agrees to charge no more than $60/hour. Handles Family law, Criminal defense, and Landlord Tenant matters.
Legal Aid of Oregon
Types of Matters Handled: public benefits (welfare, food stamps, medical assistance, social security, unemployment), housing problems (eviction, foreclosure, etc.), consumer cases (debt problems, contracts), family law issues (divorce, custody, adoption), senior law problems, juvenile legal problems, and immigration.
St. Andrew Legal Clinic
Types of Matters Handled: divorce, child support, child custody, guardianship, spousal support, visitation/parenting time, step parent adoption, paternity, and family abuse prevention (restraining orders, etc.).
Bureau of Labor and Industries
Offers labor law assistance for employers, compliance information, seminars, and publications. They can answer general questions, but cannot advise on a specific problem.
Oregon Advocacy Center
Representation of individuals with disabilities with issues related to special education, abuse and neglect, access and individual rights.
