Gender Studies Symposium call for papers

The planning committee for the 32nd Annual Gender Studies Symposium is now accepting proposals for presentations by students, faculty, and staff. 

This year’s symposium is titled Divining Meaning: Meditations on Gender and Religion and is scheduled for March 13-15, 2013.  Presentations addressing some aspect of this broad theme are especially welcome, but all proposals related to gender and sexuality will be considered.

Possible presentation formats include panels discussions, readings of creative work, performances, and traditional academic papers.

All proposals are due by Thursday, November 1.  Complete submission guidelines are posted on the symposium website.

Volunteers Needed for Green Move Out: May 6-8

As students prepare to move off campus for the summer, we are seeking volunteers to help sort and donate unwanted items.
