Lewis & Clark partners with MPACE to host Career Treks in the Pacific Northwest
Join us this spring for virtual career treks to companies in the Pacific Northwest. This is a perfect opportunity to explore career field opportunities and learn firsthand about a career field, from the comfort of your own home!
Sponsored by MPACE PacNorth and 18 universities/colleges in Oregon and Washington
What is a virtual career trek?
A free, one-hour, online experience to network with employers and explore internship and job opportunities. Current students and alumni are encouraged to attend!
Where do career treks take place?
Online! Choose to attend as many virtual career treks as you’d like and access the event through Zoom, Webex, or an alternate video hosting platform
When are career treks happening?
From February to May, 2021. Keep checking back as more will be added in the coming weeks!
What can I expect?
Each career trek will include a company overview, panel with employees from various departments, discussion about any internships or entry-level job opportunities, plus plenty of time for Q&A.
How do I register?
See the list of Career Treks offered at the MPACE website, and click the registration link for the career trek you’d like to attend. You must register separately for each career trek you would like to attend. Once you’ve registered, you will be sent a link to attend the event via email.
All Career Treks will also be listed inHandshakefor students under the title “VIRTUAL CAREER TREK”.
Contact the university host listed for the career trek you are interested in or reach out to Amanda Wheaton, employer relations coordinator at wheaton@lclark.edu.
