Thirty five L&C employees (and one canine) came out for a sunny lunch-hour hike through Tryon Creek State Park in honor of Earth Day on April 22, 2025.
The hike kicked off at the Law School’s Amphitheater which borders Tryon’s trails. Chair of One L&C Reggie Raiford led the group to the Tryon Nature Center and gave a little history of the the State Park. From there, the walkers and hikers split into two groups depending on trail preference.
“The park has several miles of trails so we offered a two-mile option which is a paved trail, and the three-mile option that starts paved and then moves to dirt trail,” Raiford said. “We had a great turnout and will plan to offer more guided hikes this summer.”
