Dillon Receives Distinguished Service Award, Office of Financial Aid Shines

Associate Vice President of Financial Aid Anastacia Dillon was presented with the Distinguished Service Award at the 57th Annual Oregon Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA) conference last month in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to OASFAA and to the financial aid profession over a period of time.
“I was so surprised and honored to be given the Distinguished Service Award by my financial aid colleagues across the state at our recent annual conference,” Dillon said. “Financial aid is a complex and difficult profession where we are tasked with balancing changing federal compliance obligations with our service to students and the institutions we serve.
Dillon has served on numerous OASFAA committees, as a presenter at conferences and training workshops, as the vice president representing independent schools, as president, and currently as a co-chair of the Mentorship committee.
The OASFAA is a volunteer organization that provides the training and networking opportunities that help all Oregon financial aid professionals to succeed in the difficult Financial Aid profession.
“Anastacia has worked at the college for 25+ years and is well known in her professional field,” Vice President of Admissions and Financial Aid Eric Staab said. “We are truly lucky to have such an outstanding professional at the helm of the Financial Aid Office.”
