The Hive is your new digital homebase for accessing Lewis & Clark’s applications and essential links. It provides a secure dashboard with a single entry point for accessing information without switching screens or multiple sign-ons.
“Through the Hive, we aim to mitigate desktop clutter, help you find historically tricky-to-locate resources, and reduce the noise you encounter on a day-to-day basis,” Director of Enterprise Applications Meredith Goddard said. “We invite you to integrate the Hive into your daily routine. Important links are accessible through the Hive, such as our new link to Self-Service.”
Role-based Access
Because the Hive is a role-based system, the content you have access to depends on your position at the institution to ensure relevancy. In Fall 2025, staff and faculty gained temporary access to the student view of the Hive. To support employees who are passionate about collaborating with students, we have created an “opt in” feature that allows employees to continue to view student-only content in addition to employee content. If you would like to opt in to this hybrid employee/student view, please submit a ticket by emailing itservice@lclark.edu.
Find Your Employee Benefits in the Hive
Open Enrollment runs February 20-March 3 for the 2026-2027 benefits year, and Lewis & Clark’s updated Employee Benefits Guide will be posted and downloadable from the Hive and Workday, rather than the main HR website.
Ready, Set, Enroll! 2026-27 Benefits Action Required
Visit the Hive on February 10, 2026 to access vital information about upcoming changes to your employee benefits.
Since this year’s Open Enrollment will be active—employees are required to manually update their benefits (health, dental, etc.) before March 3, 2026 or they will lose coverage for the upcoming year—employees will find the benefit guide helpful in exploring your plan options. HR will begin communicating on February 9 with details on webinars, info sessions, and the annual Benefits Fair happening on February 24 in Stamm.
“We are currently polishing the Hive for both GSEC and Law student use as well, so stay tuned for updates!” Goddard said.
If you would like to request changes or additions to the Hive cards, if you have questions, or if you’d like to offer feedback, please contact laurentimzen@lclark.edu or submit a ticket by emailing itservice@lclark.edu.
