Create Your Own Otter Dens: Interest-Based Living Experience

Ever thought it would be cool to live with a group of your peers who all share a common interest, hobby, or passion? In many residential areas, a block of rooms will be held aside, and groups of students can put in an application to live there. Do you and six of your peers have a passion for foraging wild mushrooms? Maybe you and four other people love early morning runs. Obsessed with all things A24? You get to choose! Live with your friends in Otter Dens!

Otter Dens provide students with an opportunity to live in a cluster of pre-selected rooms with a group of peers who share a common interest, hobby, or passion. Students who are part of approved dens will be booked into their room by Campus Living ahead of room selection!

Applications for 2026-27 Otter Dens will open on March 2nd. Otter Den applications will be considered by completion date. Every member of an Otter Den has to apply for 2026-2027 housing in order to be considered.

Otter Den Notes

• There are no dens composed of all singles. Otter Dens may contain a mix of singles, doubles, and quads.
• If someone in your den has an approved housing accommodation, please have them connect with Campus Living to review the list of den locations.
• The average den size is 5-12 people, but Campus Living can accommodate larger groups.
