Seeking Your Input

Student feedback and input has been vital to a number of recent efforts.

Below are some examples of changes made in the last few years because L&C students (maybe even you) shared their thoughts and experiences:

• Deciding to change the mascot and selecting the River Otter in response to direct student feedback and community voting
• Modifying the costs used in the financial aid process to better reflect what students actually spend for things like books, transportation, and personal expenses
• Modernizing the student digital experience via the creation of the HIVE and launching student self-service registration
• Allowing meal swipes to be used in the Trail Room until it closes, helping expand meal plan usage AND an addition of healthier options in the Trail Room throughout dinner hours
• Developing new academic programs in Data Science, Education and Health Studies
• Creating the New Student Peer Mentor Program (NSPM) and changing NSO to focus on small groups, offer more student-choice options, and provide better connections with the LC Community including a more robust introduction to available academic resources
