A former L&C Board of Alumni member and Equity and Inclusion chair, Aukeem Ballard has spent his career championing systemic change. From his time as a teacher in Portland Public Schools to Co-Principal and social justice advocate in California, to his current PhD research at UC Berkeley, he remains dedicated to reimagining K-12 schools as humanizing spaces where marginalized youth can thrive.
Alumni is located in Alumni Gatehouse on the Undergraduate Campus.
