Summer Transportation Options, Vehicle and Bike Storage
Summer Vehicle Storage
If you plan on leaving your vehicle on campus while you return home for summer, a Summer Vehicle Storage Permit will be required. If you are parking on campus, but routinely driving the vehicle, a storage permit will not be required.
- Storage permit may be purchased on parking portal - $150
- Vehicle must park in Lot K - Copeland Lot near the along the fence - access via gate 5
- Liability Waiver Must be completed
- LC is not responsible for any damages and/or theft that may occur while parked
- Please remember to remove all valuables and make sure vehicle is properly secured
- LC reserves the right to tow vehicle to a new location at LC’s expense in the event of an emergency.

- Vehicles that do not purchase a storage permit will be deemed abandoned after 30 days and towed at owner’s expense

If you need to leave your bike on campus over the summer break, please see below:

- Bikes must be secured in one of the following locations:
- Bikes may be subject to disposal if
- Storage form not completed
- Bike left in unauthorized location
- Bike in disrepair
- Bike left unsecured (not locked)

TriMet
Key Destinations and rough travel times - One Way (can vary by time and day)

Times do not include wait/walk time to walk and start trip. The times reflect from the moment you get on the bus.

Fred Meyer (Barber location)
- 30 minutes - **including 0.9 mile walk (if you get off at SW Terwilliger & Taylors Ferry)
- 31 minutes - Take 35T to SW Arthur & 1st and transfer to 12 at SW Barbur and Hooker (0.3 mile walk). This drops you on the corner where Fred Meyer is located (SW Barbur & Bertha)

- 10 minutes - 35T will drop off at Safeway

- 10 min - 35T will drop off across the street from shopping center.

New Seasons (Sellwood)
- 32 min - Includes transfer from 35T to 40. Drops off 2 min walk from New Season
Airport (PDX)

- 1 hour 15 min - 1 hour 45 min - 35T to NW Everett & 2nd, transfer to Red Line (MAX) which ends at airport.

From PDX
- 1 hour 15 min - 1 hour 45 min - Red Line (MAX) to Rose Quarter Max Station - Transfer to 35T at N. Interstate & Multnomah (2 min walk)
- Car Sharing Service on campus. Sign up and rent vehicle on campus with hourly and day rates.
- Vehicle is parked in reserved ZipCar space in Upper Fowler lot across from Odell.
OtterBus
- The OtterBus does not operate during over the summer break and will resume prior to start of Fall 2026.
- Beginning Fall 2026 the OtterBus route will change to an East-West route, which will eliminate key stops including Barbur Blvd and PSU. Learn more about new route here.
