Green Move Out Information for Students

May 5–8, students can drop items in good condition to donation sites in Holmes, Copeland, Platt, Tamarack, Stewart, and Fowler 215 (game room). The swap—where everyone is welcome to shop for free—will be held May 7–8 in Fowler 215.

As you pack for your summer away from campus, please consider responsibly donating good-condition clothing and household items.

Items must be clean, fully functioning, and free of tears, stains, etc. Please clean out working personal mini fridges.

Thoughtful donation is really important to our nonprofit partners. Please don’t make your trash someone else’s problem and check out these tips for responsible donating.

Donation sites: Copeland, Holmes, Stewart, Tamarack, Platt – May 5 to 8

Donate and Swap Shop: Fowler 215 – May 7 and 8

All campus community members are welcome to come and shop at the swap in Fowler 215all items are FREE! Below is a list of acceptable items to donate:

  • Unopened Food
  • Clothing
  • School supplies (including books)
  • Electronics
  • Small household items (including mini-fridges)
  • Clean, good condition bedding

Please do not donate:

  • Torn/broken, stained, or nonworking items
  • Worn, dirty bedding
  • Mattress toppers
  • Large furniture
  • Opened or fresh food
