CAS and Common Services 2027 Budget FAQs

Following two budget forums held this spring to discuss strategic expense reductions for FY27, the Office of the President has compiled this FAQ to answer frequently asked questions submitted by faculty and staff.

The Office of the President held two budget forums during the spring semester to discuss strategic realignment and CAS / Common Services budget reductions.

The forum addressed the recent actions taken in advance of the FY27 fiscal year to reduce expenses in the College of Arts and Science and Common Services.

Faculty and staff were invited to submit questions in advance of each budget forum. Please find answers to the most frequently asked questions in this FAQ.
