The L&C Office Supply Swap is a brand-new listserv designed to help employees trade unwanted office supplies and furniture. Instead of buying new or letting good items go to waste, this community connects you with colleagues to save department budgets, clear out workspace clutter, and promote campus sustainability.
Ever stared at a mountain of extra three-ring binders wondering what to do with them? Or wished you could snag an extra monitor or a better desk chair without dealing with tedious budget approvals and shipping delays?

Why you need to join this group:
- Save Your Budget: Before you buy new, check the swap! You can score everything from notebooks to office furniture.
- Clear the Clutter: Declutter your workspace in seconds. Give your unwanted file organizers, extra power strips, or desk chairs a second life with someone who actually needs them.

- Once you’re in, just send a quick email to the listserv whenever you have items to purge or a specific item you’re hunting for.
- Please note:
- If you score or part with large pieces of furniture, contact Facilities Services to coordinate getting them moved safely.
- Facilities cannot store anything for anyone.
- Facilities will support logistics for new purchases of quality commercial grade furniture only—as in, please don’t buy junk furniture with your budget.
