Emily Fortune Hancock serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Placements for the Graduate School. Her work is grounded in antiracism and intersectional feminism. Emily works to establish collaborative partnerships with our local school districts, mental health agencies, and other universities to advance the social justice mission of the Graduate School.
Before coming to Lewis & Clark, she managed a variety of institutional partnerships to encourage education equity at Portland Public Schools and the University of Chicago. She is in constant awe of what we can accomplish when individuals and institutions with shared moral vision combine resources and collaborate.
Emily holds an MA in Divinity from the University of Chicago and a BA in History and Urban Studies from the American University of Paris.
Strategic Partnerships and Placements is located in Corbett House on the Graduate Campus.
