Advice or Tips for any L&C Students: Don’t be afraid to try new things, even if they feel a little outside your comfort zone. Some of the best experiences and friendships come from taking chances. Get involved on campus, check out clubs and events, and put yourself out there. You might discover something you love and meet some amazing new people. At the same time, make sure to take care of yourself and find a balance between school, community, and the things that make you happy!
Involvements on Campus (ask me about!):
I am actively involved in several campus organizations and programs, including the Social Change Community, Travel Lounge, Teacher Pathway Program, Puerto Rican Student Union (PRSU), and Cheer & Step. I also work at Grad Campus, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about that or anything else around campus. I’m always happy to help!
I also enjoy participating in Gente Latina Unida (GLU), the Gastronomy Club, the Dance Company, IME, and other campus activities whenever I can.
