Visible from campus, the towering peaks that form the Cascade range are emblematic of collective strength and unshakable resolve. Rushing cascades of water that form Northwest waterfalls and rivers are also symbols of the power of determination, collaboration, and persistence. Cascades in all their forms remind us of our institutional commitment to environmental justice and our responsibility to steward the land with care. To be a Cascade is to be a part of something enduring, grounded, and awe-inspiring.
