Bio
Hello! My name is Aili, I’m from Portland, and I study Political Science and Hispanic studies here at LC. I see policy as a critical tool for changing systems and improving the lives of people in my communities. I also love literature, film, poetry and history; a.k.a the beautiful interdisciplinary mess that is Hispanic Studies! I believe that working to connect my passions makes me a better leader and a more thoughtful and caring person all around. In my free time, I love to hike/swim/camp/canoe/do literally anything that gets me outside, read (Haruki Murakami and Isabel Allende are some of my favorites), write poetry and play music! In the future I hope to pursue a law degree and eventually work in policy spaces, probably in Portland.
