Hello! I’m Hazel (she/her) and I’m from Santa Cruz, California. I’m a BCMB and Political Science double major. I am pursuing this combination because of my fascination with gene editing technologies. Specifically, I am interested in the future mechanical, cultural, and ethical landscapes these technologies will produce. In my free time, I want to do anything that involves being outside or being with the people I love! Some of my favorite things are road trips, ocean dunks, hot drinks, crafting, and zumba.
