Dan Hsieh has over 30 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, and business development. He was Chief Innovation Officer at ION Media Networks, the nation’s largest owner of television stations, and Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Technology at the Walt Disney Company. Before that he was a partner and Vice President at William Kent International, a management consulting firm advising multinational corporations on market entry and development strategies in emerging markets in Asia, Latin America, and Central Europe.
In addition to internal investments and large scale M&A, his responsibilities also included identifying and investing in small and startup companies in the US and overseas, raising external capital for new initiatives with corporate and financial investors, and creating the operational and human resource foundation required for success.
Dan has an SB in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
