Ali Trinh
Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts
Ali Trinh is the AVP for Principal Gifts at Lewis & Clark, and works closely with donors to shape transformational giving that advances the institution’s highest priorities. Her approach is grounded in building authentic relationships and creating meaningful pathways for long-term impact.
With close to 20 years of experience in philanthropy, Ali previously held development roles with Providence Health & Services and the American Cancer Society. At Providence, she led a $45 million campaign to support a reimagined emergency department, bringing together donors, clinicians, and institutional leadership to expand access to critical care.
Ali is known for her ability to align donor intent with institutional priorities to create transformational impact. Her leadership has been recognized nationally; she was named a 40 Under 40 recipient by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). She believes philanthropy is most powerful when it is both strategic and deeply meaningful for both the institution and the donor. She also believes healthcare and education are foundational to the health and well-being of thriving communities.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, family bike rides, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and their German Shepherd mix- Baer.
Advancement Office is located in McAfee on the Undergraduate Campus.
