Randall Kennedy is the Michael R. Klein Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, where he joined the faculty in 1984. Professor Kennedy’s research focuses on racial conflict as it relates to legal institutions in American life.

His 80+ publications include four single-authored books, one of which – Race, Crime, and the Law – won the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award in 1988.
