Directly after law school, Professor Toni Berres-Paul worked at Weiss, DesCamp, Botteri doing general corporate work with an emphasis in securities. After practicing for a few years she became general counsel for a Portland corporation. Prior to law school she was a teacher and an administrator in the public school system. She has also served on various Oregon State Bar committees in the past.
