Law of the Sea Symposium
Every fall, the International Law Society devotes an entire week of events to a specific topic of international law. In October 2010, our week-long symposium was dedicated to the law of the sea. We hosted expert speakers who gave enlightening lectures covering admiralty law, terrorism and piracy, and environmental issues such as operational discharge and deep sea bed mining, among other topics. To finish off a wonderful week, we invited local band Negara to campus, treating the student body to a sunny afternoon of Mediterranean music and food. To check out the band, please visit their site at http://www.negaramusic.org
