  • News Image

The April, 2011 edition of Science magazine includes a lengthy article addressing “The Rise of Animal Law.”  The piece asks, “Will growing interest in how the legal system deals with animals ultimately lead to changes for researchers?”

Among those featured in the article is Clinical Professor & Animal Law Clinic Director Kathy Hessler.  Also featured are some of Lewis & Clark’s Summer Intensive Animal Law Program professors including Joyce Tischler, Jonathan Lovvorn (LL.M. ‘01), and Steven Wise.
