Lewis & Clark Law School is pleased to announce the launch of a new joint JD/LLM degree program in environmental law — the only joint JD/LLM program in environmental law in the nation. The joint degree is designed for Lewis & Clark law students who would like to obtain both a JD degree and a post-graduate LLM degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. At the ABA’s required 10 month status reporting date, 93% of 2025 Lewis & Clark Law School graduates were employed, with 90% of 2025 grads in Bar Passage Required or JD Advantaged positions.
This year’s winning papers investigated how developing countries face inequities in expropriation for public purpose, and challenges to establishing standing in international environmental rights cases.
“Excellence and resilience in a fast-changing world” is the focus of the Law School’s strategic plan, with efforts to “future-proof” the school and ensure students’ success.
