Dear fellow alums,
Every year, I am struck by the passion and commitment of our students and alums: passion for the law, and the commitment to each other and the community we form together.
Part of our commitment as alums is to mentor and support law students today, specifically with our Alumni Board of Directors Scholarship. Every year, we give scholarships to 2Ls who are chosen based on financial need, community involvement, scholarly achievement, and plans for staying involved with the law school after graduation.
We receive dozens of applications for this scholarship. If you could read the submissions, as I have done, I am sure you would be struck by the inspiring nature of the requests. It is so very frustrating to have to turn down so many!
These are students who are already successful, who are dedicated to Lewis & Clark Law School, and who will pay it forward. Please help us to increase this scholarship with a gift to the Alumni Board of Directors Scholarship at go.lclark.edu/law-alumni-scholarship.
There are additional ways to support fellow alums and students, too—mostly by mentoring and participating in our networking events. Watch your email for upcoming events and join in!
If you are interested in joining the Alumni Board, please send me an email at Bradley.Krupicka@lewisbrisbois.com.
Best wishes,
Bradley J. Krupicka
