Wish List: A Consumer Advocacy Center

Civil litigation and dispute resolution are critical levers of change, whether protecting the rights of an entire class of people or a single individual.

Civil litigation and dispute resolution are critical levers of change, whether protecting the rights of an entire class of people or a single individual.

Our alumni have been engaged in some of the most important trials of our time, and our faculty are among the nation’s leaders in the field.

The law school wants to expand our current efforts to train students and is considering the creation of a Consumer Advocacy Center to bring all the current programs into a focused effort, and expand their reach. It is the next step toward ensuring that this legacy is carried on with tomorrow’s young attorneys.

The law school is seeking funding to support this effort and enable:

  • Lectures and programs featuring top litigators
  • Externships and fellowships with trial advocate firms
  • More moot court and mock trial experiences
  • Support for our current and new faculty with endowed professorships
