Law School Classrooms, Library Receive TLC

The law school classrooms and library got some needed remodeling in the summer of 2023.
Classrooms 5 and 6, both located on the north side of the Legal Research Center, have been reconfigured for better teaching: the sunken floors were filled in (maybe you remember hiding there so professors could not really see you?) and improvements were made in acoustics and seating.
Classroom 5’s upgrades went further to convert the room into the Bergman Courtroom. The teaching courtroom is the centerpoint of the Advocacy Center, training law students in simulation courses and mock trials. (See the Advocacy Center story, page 9.)
The Boley Law Library sports a new circulation desk and new offices for our librarians. This winter, we will transform our beautiful Wood Hall study area to provide better comfort for our students and to incorporate a flexible event space.
