Close to 100 alums who graduated in 1983 and earlier gathered for the annual McCarty Society Luncheon at Waverley Country Club, sharing stories of their lives now, with some in retirement and some still practicing law. The McCarty Society—named after Major General Chester E. McCarty ’29, a Lewis & Clark trustee who served as an Oregon senator and was a war hero—honors law school graduates who received their degrees 40 or more years ago.
