Anna Laird JD ’21 Named Outstanding Mentor
Anna Laird ’21 was the Andrea Swanner Redding Outstanding Mentor Award recipient this year.
Each year, Lewis & Clark 1L students are paired with alumni attorney mentors in the Oregon legal community who have shared interests and backgrounds, providing students with a variety of invaluable experiences and opportunities. Anna Laird ’21 was the Andrea Swanner Redding Outstanding Mentor Award recipient this year.
Her mentee, Lane Kadish, praised Laird’s guidance: “Anna has given me constant advice on how to approach classes, exams, job applications, social life, etc. I can tell that Anna genuinely cares about my law-school experience and I am very thankful to have had her as a mentor. In addition … Anna has become a great friend of mine and we will certainly continue to be in touch in the future!”
The award is named for the late Andrea Swanner Redding JD ’86, one of the law school’s mentor program founders.
