Cornelius Honors Society Members Gather

Members of the Cornelius Honor Society from all years gathered at a reception in fall 2022, for the first time since it was created in 1976. A committee of members, led by Seamus O’Connor JD ’19, formed to organize annual events, and their first event was a CLE held in Spring 2023, “A Dialogue on the Public Defense Crisis in Oregon.” It featured a panel of alums, including Oregon Supreme Court Justice Bronson James JD ’03, Director of Oregon Public Defender Services Jessica Kampfe JD ’06, and District Attorney of Multnomah County Mike Schmidt JD ’08.
