Summer Book Club with OEI

Join the Office of Equity and Inclusion for our summer book club read, the nonfiction graphic memoir Feeding Ghosts by Tessa Hulls.

* We have reached the number of books we can offer for free. If you would still like to join for book club this summer, you are welcome to purchase the book and join for any and all discussions! :-) Email mullerm@lclark.edu if you plan to join, so she can add you to the calendar invites. This opportunity is only available to faculty/staff.

May 15, 2025

The Office of Equity and Inclusion’s goal is to continue to provide spaces to build community over the summer, and this book club can serve as a touch point to meet and discuss the complex themes within this read, including loss of culture, mixed race identity, mental illness, loss of language, immigration, and generational inheritance of trauma. We will come together to discuss a local PNW author and story, and how it impacts our understanding of our own family history and our lived experiences.
