In preparation for the launch of the 2026–27 housing application, Campus Living is excited to announce three big updates. First, we will be transitioning to a new housing software system. Next, you will see a refresh of our Launchpad Living Learning Community, and finally, we’re giving returning students the opportunity to create their own Otter Dens. Read below to learn more!
Welcome to Housing.Cloud!
Campus Living is excited to partner with Housing.Cloud, our new “all-things-housing” software. We will use Housing.Cloud moving forward for applications, room selection, and more. What does this mean for you? The housing portal will have a whole new look, and we will be testing some really cool new features. We are eager to hear your feedback, and we thank you in advance for your patience as we roll out the software over the next few months.
Living Learning Community Refresh
As you likely heard, Lewis & Clark College announced its strategic imperatives including a new college-wide career readiness initiative called the Career Accelerator. To support this exciting new program, the Launchpad Living Learning Community is open to all juniors and seniors living on campus and will no longer be housed only in Roberts Hall. Students interested in Launchpad will just need to submit their interest via a form Campus Living will send over the summer. The rest of our Living Learning Communities will continue to be open to all residents and also maintain a location-based home (for example, Visual and Performing Arts will remain housed in Platt). Out of House Memberships will remain available for all LLCs.
Create Your Own Otter Dens: Interest-Based Living Experience
Ever thought it would be cool to live with a group of your peers who all share a common interest, hobby, or passion? In many residential areas, a block of rooms will be held aside, and groups of students can put in an application to live there. Do you and six of your peers have a passion for foraging wild mushrooms? Maybe you and four other people love early morning runs. Obsessed with all things A24? You get to choose! Law and Graduate Student Housing Update
This past year, we reintroduced law and graduate student housing on the CAS campus in Juniper Hall. This year, law and graduate student housing will be located in a select number of apartments in East Hall. As a result, Juniper Hall will again be open to juniors and seniors during room selection.
