Days of Giving: Three Days, Three Campuses, One Big Impact
You see the impact of Lewis & Clark every day—in your classrooms, in your offices, and in the incredible students who keep this place humming. Now, it’s time to help ensure that impact continues to grow.

From March 10-12, the entire Lewis & Clark community is joining forces for an event as big as our mission. We’re expanding Day of Giving to three days to unite the College of Arts & Sciences, Graduate School, and Law School in one big celebration of our collective strength.
The Faculty and Staff Challenge: Reach 300, Win Big!
We’ve set a goal of 300 faculty and staff donors across all three schools. If we hit this mark, every single L&C faculty and staff member will be entered into a drawing for some truly legendary prizes:
- A Cooley House Pool Party: Yes, you read that right. This summer, you can host your own private pool party at the President’s residence.
- A-Z Winery 6-Pack: Enjoy a selection from this acclaimed alumni-owned winery
- The Law Campus Bake Basket: A curated basket of homemade treats from our talented colleagues.
Whether it’s a $5 contribution to a student club or a gift to a specific department, every single person who gives brings us closer to that six-figure milestone.
Department Challenges
Different teams at L&C are getting in on the action. Here are some challenges put out by specific department heads:
- Benjamin C. Meoz, MEd, PhD, Vice President for Student Life, will match $1 for $1 all gifts from Student Life staff to the Student Emergency Fund up to $1,000 total.
- Chief Financial Officer & VP Operations Andrea Dooley will match all gifts from staff in the Finance Department $1 for $1 up to $1,500 total.
- If Advancement reaches 100% participation in giving, Vice President for Advancement Josh Walter will host a lunch party and professional massages for the entire team.
- Vice President of Admissions & Financial Aid Eric Staab will match all gifts from Admission and Financial Aid staff $1 for $1 up to $1,000.
- Law Dean Alicia Ouellette challenges the entire law community - faculty and staff included - to unlock $2,000 in bonus funds starting the afternoon of Tuesday, 3/10. The first 50 gifts will trigger an initial $1,000, with the next 50 gifts unlocking the remaining $1,000. All new contributions, including Day of Giving BBQ donations and gifts supplemental to payroll or PILP, count toward this goal.
How to Get Involved Now
You don’t have to wait until March 10 to make your mark. Here is how you can help build the momentum today:
- Give Early: You don’t have to wait for the 10th! Making a gift today helps us build the momentum we need to hit that 300-donor mark. FYI for those of you who use payroll deduction—those gifts count toward our total, too!
- Become an Advocate: You are the best storytellers for the work we do. Sign up as an advocate for your school to get a personal sharing link and help us spread the word to your own networks.
Every gift, no matter the size, is a vote of confidence in our students and our mission. Thank you!
